Portable Handheld Doppler Ultrasonic Flowmeter

Description

This Clamp-on Ultrasonic Flowmeter offers the latest Trans-Phase Non-Contact measuring technology, providing accurate, reliable flow velocity monitoring for liquids application with suspended solids or aeration. Requires a full pipe with > 100ppm of 100 micron size suspended solids or aeration.

Recommended for dirty liquid applications. Typical example include Plant Influent, Pump Stations, Wastewater, Sewage, Paper Stock, Dredging, Sludge, Slurries, Flow Studies and Surveys.

Operation

This non-invasive, handheld transducer is placed on the outside of a pipe. Within seconds, the large LCD display velocity (flow rate) in feet per second (fps) or meters per second (mps). Each flowmeter comes complete with a carrying case, Flow calculator slide ruler, transducer and Acoustic mounting compound.

Not reccomended for clean liquid applications.
